Yoga, Qi Kung and Meditation

Yoga / Qi Kong

Physical exercise is vital to the cleansing process. Many people have become toxic due to an overly sedentary lifestyle. Chi Kung is the ancient Chinese discipline of energy cultivation through movement and exercise.

During your stay at the retreat you are encouraged to join the daily Chi Kung and yoga sessions at the start of each day. Harmonizing the meridians and circulatory systems (Blood, Lymph and Chi) greatly enhances the body’s ability to detox, and yogic stretching and breathing techniques complement this process. These exercises  produce an overall sense of balance and wellbeing to help your whole Cleansing experience be more enjoyable and rewarding.

Meditation

Like Chi Kung, meditation can greatly enhance the cleansing process. Is true the process of physical and mental purification go hand in hand. It’s Quite often with the removal of stale and toxic energies from the body. Old and troubling mental habit and negative reactions in he memory patterns can surface giving and excellent opportunity to process and let go.

You are encouraged to make meditation part of your program at the Retreat and there will be group meditation and healing sessions where appropriate and if requested. If you wish you learn meditation in a systematic and structured way you may like to join one of Burgs’ intensive meditation programmes in the UK, please see www.justletgo.org.
