Yoga and Monitoring

Yoga

Physical exercise is vital to the cleansing process. Many people have become toxic due to an overly sedentary lifestyle.

During your stay at the retreat you are encouraged to join the twice daily yoga sessions. Harmonizing the meridians and circulatory systems (Blood, Lymph and Chi) greatly enhances the body’s ability to detox, and yogic stretching and breathing techniques complement this process. These exercises  produce an overall sense of balance and wellbeing to help your whole Cleansing experience be more enjoyable and rewarding.

Meditation

While mediation is not formally taught at the center You are encouraged to make meditation part of your program at the Retreat. If you wish you learn meditation in a systematic and structured way you may like to join one of Burgs’ intensive meditation programmes in the UK, please see www.theartofmeditation.org.

Monitoring

Our staff are trained to monitor and take you through the retreat: there is nothing that you need to know about detox before you arrive. If you wish simple to kick back and relax you can, or we have books and literature about fasting and our programme in each of the rooms if you want to understand and learn about the principles of fasting as you go throught the process.

There are no registered doctors on site, but you will be asked to fill out a Wellness questionaire upon booking so that we can advise and screen anyone with any serious health complications before they go out.
